The path to autonomous driving

In Kronach, autonomous shuttle buses have already been tested on a daily basis in regular traffic since beginning of June 2021. This is enabled by the cooperation of the city, industry, research and the Innovation Hub Kronach e.V.

In preparation of this year's Allianz Motor Day, Dr. Christoph Lauterwasser and a team from Corporate Communications travelled to Kronach to get an on-site impression of the operation of autonomous shuttles.
