13th Allianz Motor Day

HANDS OFF – The safety promise of autonomous driving

Oktober 2025

This year's Allianz Motor Day will take place on 28 October as a hybrid press event at the Allianz Center for Technology (AZT).

This time, the focus will be on a topic that sounded like science fiction just a few years ago: highly automated Level 3 and 4 vehicles have become a reality and will soon be a common sight on our roads.

What this automation means for accident statistics, what risks and opportunities it presents, and whether it will give more people access to safer mobility – these and other questions were examined at the AZT.

At Allianz Motor Day, we will present our findings and studies for the first time. We will also share the results of a Europe-wide survey and the current status of regulations and liability issues. Join the discussion with high-profile speakers from the automotive industry, politics and science:

Sascha Meyer, CEO MOIA GmbH

Maria Cristina Galassi, European Commission DG, Team Leader Automated/Connected Vehicles and Safety

Susan Sahl Poynor, Allianz Partners, Global Head of Mobility

Verena Bentele, World-class para athlete, 12-time Paralympic champion and four-time world champion in biathlon and cross-country skiing

Christian Sahr, Managing Director of the Allianz Center for Technology

At Allianz Motor Day on 28 October, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., we will offer an exclusive glimpse into the future of motoring – including a live demonstration and discussions with experts and exciting guests.

The press event is exclusively for journalists and experts. The event will take place on site at the Allianz Center for Technology in Ismaning near Munich and can be followed via online stream. Please note that the entire event will be held in English.
